    Can't wait!

Wow, you got lucky. I placed my order before you and have heard zip from Jura.

Hopefully due in any day now...

Well November has come and almost gone, no sign of Turtles as of yet.

I'm losing the love to be honest, would Jura refund the deposit, I wonder?
Maybe transfer it towards another watch?

I'm sure they would refund the deposit.
    Give them a call.

Bear in mind that, assuming you're buying it remotely, you would have 14days to return it for a full refund if/when it does turn up anyway it is in their interest to let you cancel now.

And if you are still interested in playing the waiting game, why not jump to the Amazon queue? I'd rather be waiting for one at £240 than £320.

Thanks, and good point made on the Amazon queue!

    I've emailed them.

Update: Jura have informed me that the November batch will be delayed until January 2017. I'm going to go ahead and cancel.

Having bought a 775 just over 2 weeks ago, ive worn it every day - feels and looks just right (though it looks better on rubber imho) - and just cancelled my padi order via Amazon as ive grown to love the black/gold dial and in comparison the padi looks a bit 'blunt'. As a bonus the 775 consistently gains 2 seconds per day, pretty good for a cheap auto I reckon!

Didn't mean blunt, 'bling' was what I meant to type!

I recently bought a PADI from SC with ar coated double domed crystal, it is absolutely lovely to look at, but i just cant seem to get on with it, and do not find it very comfortable to wear. It is sitting back in its box, and will be needing a new owner soon, as the Sumo has taken its place.

Bear in mind that Amazon's will be sourced through the grey channel and will not have a Seiko warranty. The Amazon warranty is quite limited. See here: http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...=1#post4158060

Looks like Amazon will not be able to fulfil any orders, they no longer have it listed.

It's disappeared in exactly this way before (i.e. not available to order from Amazon) but then came back.

    My order is still active.

Fingers crossed for you all that have ordered with Amazon. It'll be a great bargain if they come through with stock.

I'm not sure the fact they're no longer listed means they can't fill the pre-orders.
Maybe they know how many they're going to get in their next allocation and have orders that match.

I ordered one on amazon about a month ago and noticed yesterday that it's changed to pending and the credit that I had on my amazon account is now gone. I've not had an email about it, but they have taken payment, so maybe it's on it's way now?

Best of luck then. I ordered one back in October and they've not taken any credit from my account but I did have an email last week apologising for the delay and that they were still awaiting dispatch details from their supplier.

PADI and 775 for sale in Notts Jewellers

There's one for sale in a Nottingham Jewlellers called J.Herbert, on Wheelergate - I was there today. They have a 775 too. Both the same price, £344 I think - but I am sure you could get 10/15% off it. They've always been ok to barter with on my experience.

I bought a 775 (the gold accents) last week (in Ernest Jones, of all places - and at a tidy reduced price for a 1 day sale they had), and picked up a Seiko rubber strap (luxury version, big buckle and SS keeper) for it today from Herbert's.

Oh, hello too - just joined after a long time in the shadows..... :)

I'll put a pick of the strap at some point (if yr interested!)-it's different to what i've seen from Seiko before. Way softer, with big brushed & signed steel buckle and keeper. No idea what it was intended for originally or just an upgrade option, but seems high end and much nicer than the old SKX rubber, or even the waffle-type I had with a MM300 ages ago.

Some of the SRP turtles come on the new rubber and others the bracelet.

Back on Amazon UK at £241 but still out of stock. I wonder if:
    a) they've had a bit more allocation
    b) some people have given up and cancelled.

    I suspect ( b )

For anyone looking for a Seiko PADI who gives up on waiting for Amazon, WatchO are selling them for £315. I believe you can also use code 'SEIKO5' to get a further 5% off.
    http://www.watcho.co.uk/watches/seik...atch-srpa21k1/
For anyone not keen on the Amazon warranty, note that WatchO are extending their warranty to 3 years on the above.

edit p.s. I've confirmed with them that this is UK stock i.e. so 2 years Seiko UK warranty with the third year provided by them.

Thanks for the heads up, i'm gonna wait it out with Amazon, still too good a price and I can be patient...just

Heads up for anyone still looking for a PADI. Timewatch in the Regent Arcade Cheltenham has one sat in the window at an advertised £296 reduced from £350. Bizarrely it also has a 775 sat next to it for exactly the same money. Even more bizarrely on their (rather poor) web presence they don't even seem to be a Seiko agent.
Looked nice, if I wasn't buying a present for my wicked stepmother I'd have cancelled my Amazon order and bought it.

It's about four months now that amazon have had these "temporarily" out of stock so while it would be nice for people to get them at 240 quid, I can't see it happening

If they are out of stock they might as well put the price in as £10.

When they are in stock pretty sure they will be nearer the RRP, why sell low when so many want one?

  34. #434
Amazon often do this with various items, and 75% of the time they come through, patience is a virtue

I finally cancelled my Amazon order last week as I ordered a sea monster and a sportura from other places. Both are superb so I'm happy to leave it at that. For now. ;-)

Pepsi. Arrived from Jura by SD this morning. Full ProSpex set, Seiko/PADI logo'd box, with ProSpex and PADI tags, and more importantly, absolutely no alignment issue!

Very happy with it and all for £280; I got the £50 code for uploading a photo and then Jura kindly knocked me a bit of extra discount off, when I discussed cancelling the order back in December, as they had said it would be here by Xmas when I ordered it. I'll resize the strap tomorrow, with the tool that Jura supplied.

    Happy days.

Absolutely stunning watch, especially the dial!

They're back in stock at Jura and there is a 20% off code on the site at the moment.

  50. #450
I'm working and on my mobile, code doesn't seem to appear on the mobile site. Anyone tell me what it is please?
