    Great little key ring torch

    Hey guys,

Just received a fab little torch for my key ring.

It's tiny yet powerful enough to illuminate most tasks you will need a key ring torch for.
Only 2 modes - On and Off, but tbh that's all I need and with about 100 Lumens and only 6cm in size - it's ideal to keep on you always.
Plus it's so cheap, about £10 on Amazon and even comes with a battery.
It's the i3E EOS by Olight.
Anyways I'm really happy with it and though I'd share if anyone is looking for a tiny torch.
Oh and it water resistant too and comes in a variety of colours.
So happy with it, I've just ordered a red one for my daughter as well.

    The specs are as follows:

    Type: Key ring LED torch
    Operating Modes: On / off
Luminous Flux: Up to 90 lumens
    Lamp Type: Luxeon TX LED
    Reflector System: Smooth reflector
    Beam Range: 44 m
Batteries Required: 1 x AAA alkaline (included) or 1 x AAA NiMH
Run Time: 45 minutes (alkaline battery) / 1 hour, 10 minutes (NiMH battery)
    Dimensions: 60.5 x 14 mm
    Weight: 19.4 grams (excluding battery)
Colours Available: Black / red / blue / green / purple
Body Material: Aerospace grade aluminium alloy
Body Finish: HA III hard anodised
    Switch Type: Twist action
    Impact Resistance: 1.5 m
    Environmental: Waterproof to IPX8 standard (2 m)
    Warranty: 5 years
    Regulatory Compliance: CE / RoHS

I got the i3S on Amazon when they were £13 (I think it's the next model up) : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...ilpage_o08_s00

They're great little torches (Although I think I still prefer my Fenix E05).

I have Nitecore Tubes on almost all my keyrings.

    • Really small and light
    • Flat design, so you don't notice it on a bunch of keys
    • Two levels of brightness (the higher of which is very bright for the size), and infinitely variable between the two
    • Rechargeable by microUSB, so you never need to buy a battery
    • Under a tenner
    • Available in a range of colours

^ ^ Both great alternatives. I'm just astonished at how much light you can get from these tiny little things now. So useful, everyone should have one!

The look on others faces when you light up the dark with such a tiny think.

    Great fun.

Now think how bright you can get with a hand held size light...................................

I've just bought a couple of these and I can't recommend them highly enough. While there are more powerful key chain torches available, for the price, ease of carry and that variable power output they're perfect for my needs.

When I bought my divers torch from http://www.flashaholics.co.uk they sent me a Fenix Keyring torch FOC. It's incredible how such small lights can light up a room!
The dive torch is like a motorcycle beam, something crazy like 980 lumins...

I bought a Fenix E01 last year in response to a heads up posted on here and it has taken a beating on the end of the dogs lead. I've been so happy with it I've just bought an E35 for general use (and to use on the bike when the weather improves slightly).

Not a key ring but I've bought a few of these for dog walking in the early hours and general use. Cheap enough to leave in the car and surprisingly good for £1!

I modded my transparent one with a tritium tube. Great for when you're looking for your keys.

Likewise. They are excellent. Because they are light and made of plastic, they can rattle around harmlessly in your pocket along with your keys etc. The weight is negligible.

Thank you sir. A tight fit, but a simple job. I think it was a 16mm tube.

This year some of my relatives got a Nitecore Tube as their tree present. I got them from Bangood.com (link).

I like the idea of adding a 3H GTLS...must investigate.

The Nitecore Tube is a great little torch. I bought some as Christmas gifts after watching "Big Clive's" review on YouTube and they have all lived up to expectation.
