ALS is a lot more pleasing to my eye by a country mile!

Now stop thinking about it and go buy it man!

... Oh and don't forget to post pics of your new purchase ;-)

    ....and another.

The ALS shown in the photos is the Saxonia Annual Calendar in Platinum which is exactly the same as mine.
I would agree that it is much nicer than the PP shown (5396) and the view of the back shows the better finishing of the ALS compared to the PP. I also looked at the 5396 but went for the 5146 instead.
Here is a photo of my ALS.

The ALS is stunning, it makes the PP look ordinary which is no mean feat

Both beautiful of course, but the Lange is just sublime!

    What a lovely pair

IMHO that Patek is hideous. What a cack handed dial execution from one of the great manufactures. It really is fugly IMHO. The Lange is a beauty, would go for that

There was a glorious JLC on SC which imo beats that PP. On it's own the PP is lovely but then you look at the ALS and the devil is in the details. Is there much of a price difference?

Got to agree with you about the JLC on SC beating the Patek (probably because it's mine!) But I have to give way to the Lange. That is just fantatstic.

Yes - the PP is in White Gold - whereas the ALS is in Platinum. I think the PP is around the £32k mark at £32,365 whereas the ALS is just over £40k at £40,325.
