Lume looks quite white for a 45 year old watch maybe? How is it advertised? How much is it if you don't mind me asking? Is it from a dealer ?
Cheers..

No i don't unfortunatly
I'd agree with Jason on this one. It may well have had a replacement dial as the markers look far too white for a 1972 Tudor that's obviously been worn a fair bit judging by the case back. On the other hand, it may just be the picture making them look a lot whiter than they actually are.

If it sells online for top estimate, that's £6150 you're paying. Not worth it IMHO.
Bottom estimate at £3690 isn't too bad.
Also budget for a service at anywhere between £100-£450.
If you find out PJCS stands for PORTSMOUTH JOINT-SERVICES COMMERCIAL SCUBA it could change things
You can zoom on the given link to get larger photos.
I am not very sure about the dial, the edges of the square plots look a little rounded to me, and the Tudor Printing looks like the serifs have been minimised.
And the lume is white, the trit bezel pearl has yellowed, and it is clearly seen.
It may well be an aftermarket reprint dial.
Also note that there is no bezel colour fade at all.
Also, it has a 93150 bracelet, which were invented many years after 1972, regardless of whether it is Rolex or Tudor signed.
So it would warrant a thorough inspection before bidding.
Because it may be that someone has lavished a lot of later RSC service care on their trusty old watch.
Or it could be that someone is trying to make you think that.
I remain undecided and would have a look.

I would agree with the above, it may be a service dial and hands, you would hope that it had those papers to back it up though, needs more info than that link is giving.
Cheers..

I have a 7021/0 snowflake it also had a replacement dial and hands the plus on this one is it has the red date wheel. Mine the date wheel was replaced through the years like the dial and hands with service parts. But I paid US $2000.00 so not complaining. Had SF Rolex service center service it so other than those replacement parts every else was legit. Hope you get a good price and every else is legit if you go for it. Dam prices are shooting up on these lately.

The good thing is that the hands and dial colour seem to match. It's not too shabby and would be a good buy at the right price. Unfortunately though that extra 20% plus 3% is unlikely to make it cheap.
Has this one been through today yet? I can't view on my phone.... Ta...
Cheers..

I didnt bother bidding on this in the end as wasn't sure about the dial
Wonder if lume has been bleached by the elements? Or relume?
