Or just £9280 new from Iconic!!!
A saving of MINUS £1330!!!
This won't last long.
Now the prices on the grey markets have closed up to UK ones I wonder if we will see more people happy to pay RRP at a uk AD.
It should help the used market
It will be interesting to see what happens to the prices of the current Daytona model if (we of course won't know until the Fair itself and I can't say I'm highly optimistic, despite the rumours) there is a new SS Daytona model released this year .... also interesting to note the number of folk on the Horsham list who declined the 'offer' from the AD!
Quite so. The grey prices provided a natural ceiling, a price buffer into which it seemed hard to push secondhand prices. This is now reduced and the tidiest secondhand pieces will inflate.
What irritates is that so many push tatty pieces indiscriminately alongside better ones. One 116233 with a diamond dial is not the same as another. Poor bracelet, marked glass, grazed crown are all significant factors to me, but some take no account of such variables.
Interesting times.

A SS Daytona isn't really rare these days. Prices for young, little used ones are dropping near 8000.-€ And if you have an AD which is not playing the rolex rarety myth game you can get it easily.
To be fair it is rare to see one in a window. I never have
Sold now. Anyone here get it
Whittles in Preston rang me last week to say they had a white face one in. Might have gone by now but worth a call.
S/S Daytonas are not 'rare', on the contrary.
I'm heading into Preston today can Check at whittles for you if you like?
