    Another Beater Just Landed

Just picked up a another nice beater so thought Id share my good luck, Its a 'Tissot Seamaster Automatic 1000', I thought Id show it as Iv not seen much talk on Tissot watches but I have to say this watch is really nice.
Its well built and the second hand has a lovely sweep to it, Its has a really nice light blue lume its just seems to be a really nice and very well built watch for what id paid.
It was on Gumtree It came with no box or papers but with a £150 price tag was also a good buy i believe,

These images are taken from google as i cant get photos like some of you can

Absolute steal! (I hope that it wasn't stolen though).

I have a Sea Star 660 knocking about somewhere, might have to dig it out.

I hope not thats the last thing i need but it was advertised openly on Gumtree, so I would hope that if it was stolen it would not have been advertised so openly

Steal is another word for saying it's a good deal.
Lovely looking beater you have there.

As per my reply on the Friday thread - I love that!

Very nice thing, and I haven't seen one before.

    Good price too for £150!

How does it feel in terms of "fit and finish"?

    - - - Updated - - -

DO you have a face-on shot?

I like how the date window is rounded to make it look symmetrical to the 9 o'clock baton (at a glance, anyway).

Im amazed at the quality of this watch, its beyond what I thought I would get for my money.
Its weighs 101g with the strap but it is only a silicone/rubber strap so weighs nothing, Its has some nice weight to it, it just feels perfect.
The way it sits on the wrist the feel everything just seems well perfect with it

DO you have a face-on shot?
once again photos have come of the net, my camera just does not take a good close up sorry

Iv just taken a look at the reviews on amazon, scroll to the bottom and take a look. seems Im not the only happy buyer when it comes to this watch

they sell for around £200 used on ebay, so at £150 a £50 saving

Very nice. I have the chronograph version, paid €700 new in Italy a couple of years ago after a bit of haggling so I'd say £150 is a bargain!

I like that. Currently looking for something similar as I grow to realise the SKX007 I bought a few weeks back just isn't doing it for me (too tall, too flat faced, lugs too stumpy, no need for a day etc).

Great looking watch and a lot for the money. Like the circular date window. Might take a Google to see what versions are available, interested to see if it's so,d on a bracelet.

    Enjoy

if you check the sold items you will see they do come up you just got to keep your eyes open

one sold 4 days ago 'new without tags' for £280 but that was new so a really good deal

one sold last week for £215 used, so they are around they just not as common as a Seiko lets say

Great pick-up. I love the detail on the bezel and the dial, the bezel especially with the raised/engraved (?) markers/numerals. The product face shot don't do it justice though, looks flat.

yes for sure, then you'll need to buy the leather Natos, the cloth Natos, all the different coloured leather straps and then the different coloured rubber straps so you can get just the right look...it's all part of our condition you know
