The company concerned were U.K. Specialist watches and are a complete bunch of crooks.
I was lucky enough to know a few very knowledgeable guys one of whom inspected the watch in person and said it was a 'bitsa' wrong dial, hands, case back stamped with incorrect year etc etc
I informed John the owner of the dealers of all this over the phone and his exact words were "we aren't vintage experts"
TBH it was a very stressful situation and the gentlemen was distressed on the phone over all the bad press he was receiving.
I did feel very bad until I saw he had relisted the watch with a different bezel and put it straight back on his site.
