    Hands of Time

I was browsing in Waterstones the other day, and I came across a fairly-recently published book named Hands of Time, by Rebecca Struthers, a master watchmaker from Birmingham.

It’s really good and I’d recommend it to anybody interested in horology.

Not a very detailed review, I grant you - but you won’t be disappointed if you buy it!

This book was book of the week a while ago on bbc radio 4. Probably still there.

    I agree it's very interesting.

It’s a great book and a pleasure in hardback. An informative and entertaining mix of the history of horology combined with Struthers’ own personal story. Unexpectedly quite moving.
