If you have kids, Renegade Nell is worth a watch. Even for me it was mildly entertaining but my daughter loved it.
Not sure if its been recommended yet, but Dark on Netflix is simply amazing.
Time travel in a small German town, with some really interesting paradoxes / time loops.
Some of the characters are represented by 3 different actors in the different eras and it is creepy how well they were cast.
At one point, I thought, "Aw, that's disappointing. They just put a wig and make up on the actor to make him look older." But it turned out to be an older actor that just looked ridiculously like the younger guy!
Story is great too. Sad it's over...

I'm loving the format.
We finished the series last night. Absolutely loved it. I'm sure there is some artistic license but it's so brutally honest that I suspect a lot is true.

I’ve recently discovered ‘Gone Fishing’ with Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse. I’ve no interest in fishing but it’s such a relaxing and funny programme. It’s the TV equivalent of having a joint.
It’s great, more about their friendship than the fishing.

Just watching the last episode now.
I have enjoyed it, but it's full of flaws, things that make no sense, and I'm one all for suspending disbelief.
Also major characters come and go in the blink of an eye.
I'm guessing some of this is due to condensing a large book into 8 episodes, but sometimes it does seem painfully inconsistent.
One example, in this episode, they're desperate to save weight on a space craft and yet fit a.complex, electric/hydraulic hatch to it when a simple screw down or even welded one would have done just as well...

One of the things that they do in the series is that some characters from the books are split into multiple characters on the screen. This enables them to have conversations, expository dialogue, things like that?
Also, I think you could probably happily stop the series after ep 5 (with the ship - you know what I mean) and it would work fine - ep 6-8 are from later books (which I've not read).

Farrell is just such a bad actor
Shogun on Disney+ has finished now, and what an excellent series it was. You had to properly concentrate on it, which was a refreshing change, but it made me realize that while I'm not very good at multitasking, I'm pretty poor at single tasking these days as well. Concentrating on only one thing for an hour at a time was challenging.
I found it good up to the last episode, found the end pretty disappointing

Colin Farrell is a hard-boiled 'tec (Moody? check. Likes old films? check. Drives a classic convertible? check. Handy with his fists protecting a dame while wearing a suit? Check check check) but sweet inside ("Sugar"...)
Aims for Bogart but usually achieves Jim Rockford with a migraine.

Thought it amusing for a couple of episodes but found Mike Bubbins impression of Ricky Gervais in The Office starting to grate.
I've finally worked out the true meaning of Three Body Problem!
I wasn't sure after the first episode, but it became clear as the series progressed:
There are 3 cast members who can't act
The appearance of any of these three bodies destabilises the frame beyond comprehension.
Physics hasn't yet found a general solution, and neither have the producers.
Apart from that, it's enjoyable hokum, and clearly very expensively produced. It wisely tips its hat to Stanisław Lem, which regains it some points, before losing them all again when one of the three bodies gets their call.
This thread is proof that we're lucky to have TV this good to mock.
I didn’t make it through the first episode, just found it dull.

Hijacking of flight 601 has kept me watching this afternoon, very well executed, on Netflix.
Also, Red Eye on ITV seemed promising having watched a single episode assuming we could have watched on demand. Alas, no.

Having been subjected to being stalked personally (nothing like as serious as anything that happened in this series) it brought back some weird memories….
Whether they’re mad or bad is for others to decide…. They’re most certainly confused and suffering…. Fascinating and challenging insight into how abuse can impact you too…

Series 1-nearly gave up as it was ridiculous.
Series 2 better but a bit of a ridiculous body count.Enjoyable enough.
Series 3 much better and with a much lower body count and better story.
I'd say it's a series that guys would prefer. The Mrs gave up after 3 episodes of series 1.
Fallout was OK, nothing special despite some people raving about it. I'm liking American Rust Series 2 - Broken Justice, but then I'm a Jeff Daniels fan- Both on Amazon Prime.

Rewatching Dope Sick on the iPlayer, an incredible story with a great performance by Michael Keaton.
