Half way thru Based On a True Story and enjoying the fun ride about True Crime fanatics, bit like Only Murders in Building.

Have binged the 1st of two seasons of White Gold on Netflix. Light relief, short eps., and a superb 80s soundtrack.
Only issue is two of the Inbetweeners lads are in it and it's SO hard not to forget their characters from that - especially Jay.
But good fun anyway and recommended for an easy watch on cold nights. Helps the main character's wife is sensational too. 8/10

The latest series of Fargo on Prime is excellent, so many great characters, and beautifully put together too.

Another positive nod for 'Boy Swallows Universe' (Netflix).

We have one more episode left, but we have really enjoyed it so far.
Its a great mix of Ozzie humour, a dark but comedic tale, great characters plus all well acted and very enjoyable to watch. Some parts have a 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople' vibe about them (the Prison Kitchen escape), so if you enjoyed that film then its worth giving this a try too.

Long ago I watched the series Rich Man, Poor Man. I think it was Nick Nolte's star-making role. I believe it's available on Amazon Prime.

    Outstanding series!

Late to the party (as usual) after completing “Person of Interest” and REALLY enjoying it (especially the way that the last series rounds out the story and characters, a lot of series don’t always really “End”) we’ve dipped into the Amazon “bargain bin” and discovered Bosch.

Very enjoyable detective series’, already near the end of series 2.

Thanks for the recommendation, we’ve binge watched our way into mid-season 3 so far. It’s a shame that season 4 never happened.

Quirky, Thats one word for Munch.
Towards the end, I was more worried about the Mother in Law. Great series though.

All the True Detective series are a good watch.
Just started on True Detective 4 ( Night Country). I think its available Sky. Very good so far

    Griselda

I really enjoyed Griselda on Netflix. The real-life spiral of the cocaine godmother from Columbia to Miami.

I am finding her a bit cheesy in places (or rather the writing) - all seems a bit of a rushed pace also due to the 6 only episodes maybe??

just binged KIN of BBC, Irish Narco; very good

Fargo (all of them) are excellent

most of the way through Griselda and enjoying that

also getting through 'The Kaminsky Method' on Netflix - quirky comedy with Michael Douglas as an aging acting coach. Very good cast and something a little different from the normal stuff. It's been around for a few years but i stumbled across it on a random search. short & amusing episodes; worth a try

Over the past fortnight, my wife and I binge-watched all 4 seasons of The Killing - the US version with Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman (C4). Really enjoyed it - though there were some places (S1/2) where we thought it dragged a bit.

Tried out a couple of episodes of Mr & Mrs Smith with Donald Glover (Prime) - not sure....might come back to it. Started Griselda last night - which looks good and will continue.

Unfortunately ITV’s “Trigger” is not an Only Fools and Horses spin-off. I got excited for a moment.

All eight episodes of the second series of KIN are now on iPlayer. One episode in and it's as gripping as the first series :)

    Really!!???

Honestly thought it was one of worst TV shows I've ever seen. Terrible acting and script.

This is such a good series - I also watched S2-E1 last night & looks just as good, if not better than the first series!

Totally agree, I’m sure they could have expanded the storyline across more episodes. Shame as it did start off well.

Mr and Mrs Smith on Prime is treat so far, four episodes in. Likeable characters with great chemistry, very stylish, lovely photography and locations, some action and espionage on the side, what more do you need?

Don't know if Lawman Bass Reeves has been mentioned, but well worth a watch 👍

just finished true detective season 4 , i had really high hopes for this after watching the first 2 episodes and thought it would go on from season 1 and go more into the cthulhu mythos (sort of a creepy chambers/lovecraft theme) - imo it went downhill from esp 3 and just wafted along with no solid theme at all , 6-10.

I have given up on it just far to slow and pointless, will probably go back to it but easily worst season so far
