Head over to bulangandsons.com for a MN issued blue snowflake..... Lovely piece of kit
Btw it's already sold
I am pretty much a novice at this and they appeared that way to me too. Unfortunately a new av cinema get up, christmas and a tudor grantour bought in november have kanckered any chance. I'd have to buy another as well,as he'll tell his brother,
and you can't give one without the other, as Frank Sinatra almost sang.

cheers saw that one - dial is a little bit too heavy on the patina for my personal taste...
thanks for the kind offer re the lad - will give it some thought :)
got a 1680 full set from first owner - plus month&year of birth as added bonus.
the issue is that it's too nice to be worn actually, as it would be absolutely impossible to replace
however 1680s (excluding the red subs) are not that much in demand these days where 5513/1675s seem to be the flavour of the month/year
way out of my league I'm afraid gentlemen...
this beauty though is absolutely enough for me
What a beaut!!!
Beauty always appears larger under water!!
So now finding out that a MN '79 Tudor when for sale this week for €22k (£16.5k) what the hell is this collection of milsubs worth?? He has a collection of 13 Tudor and Rolex milsubs with some pretty impressive serial number as ref numbers, along with all decommission papers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qx-7wgMAjF0
They are all very nice. Really jealous.
I thought the new Black Bay Black was based on an old model. I must be mistaken as I didn't notice any large crowns in the pics.
They are indeed. The thing about these oldies is, that they're scarce as hen's teeth. You can find some info on a 7924 Big Crown here: http://www.fratellowatches.com/tudor...ig-crown-1958/
Bought my first Rolex submariner in 1984, wish id bought a Tudor equivalent instead, just a bit less common.
Don't have a Tudor or a Rolex but hoping to buy a Tudor this year for a big birthday. I've never been a fan of Mercedes hands so the fact there's an alternative with the Tudor puts it massively in favour for me.
The first "expensive" watch i remember being aware of was my Dad's Tudor so they have always held an appeal to me. Despite that i've always been the sort of weirdo that preferred the less mainstream alternatives in most things.
I hear you mowflow, something less mainstream appeals to me too
I've had a few. Sold these two, I couldn't get along with the date function. I still have the no date snowflake though and would love to add a blue snowflake or no date lollipop.
Every bit as nice as a vintage Rolex sub.
Had a fair few when they were cheap(er).
Nice to see the love for the Tudors. Got this after a long time looking. Feeling quite jealous of the lovely faded bezels others have but they are surprisingly expensive to buy on their own. Guess I'll have to keep this one till it fades...
