Selfridges said 10% off everything apart from Panerai and AP today which could be worth it for some of the more obscure brands although everything looks a bit "handled" to be honest and the crowd wouldn't make for a relaxing purchase experience at the moment.

They will take orders over the phone and post nationally if there's anything that takes your fancy. I think payment has to be made with an Ernest Jones gift card if the transaction is done over the phone.

I was weighing up if I could justify it so soon after the explorer. The gold tone of the face is really nice.

The sales guy told me the reason for the reduction is they have a few in stock they would like to shift hence the drop in price so I wonder if another could be had.

It was your post that prompted the purchase, yes- thank you for the heads up! I've been looking out for one for a while and almost bought from iconic

I think the one I bought was the last available of that particular model but I think there are several other zeniths in their sale that are tempting, such as a perpetual calendar and big date that could be available still.

My experience with edifice has never been very good. Love the tech in them both I've had I had issues with the capacitar
