Santa is on his way. Seiko Hi beat content.

I am getting this for Christmas:

I just could not resist that patina.

I seriously considered getting a watch with a repainted dial:

but I decided that I would prefer a watch that looks it's age. To me the watch with the patina is more authentic and interesting.

Stunning. Really like the Lord Marvels. What year is it? I'm thinking 1969-1971?

Where is the re-painted model, wouldn't mind a look?

Very nice, love the vignette dial, shame it's not original.

Had one of these a while ago, a minty one, and foolishly sold it (for not much money as well!)

A really nice watch for any occasion and true quality with the high beat movement...the sound of this running is super...just like a tiny little machine gun 

Thanks, all for the nice comments. It is from 1969.

The re-painted one was from this seller http://www.ebay.com/sch/happyhappy98...1&_ipg=&_from=
The one in the picture is sold, but something similar may come up later...

    Nice.
I do like the hi-beat Seikos.
The case is simple and elegant, and the movement is superb.

And the case looks a bit over polished.
