    I wonder what that would go for? Is it as desirable as an early Speed bird. I looks like it does not come with papers or any of the packaging.

    Odd. Presumably gone to a private deal but I can never understand why vendors withdraw items and sell to an offer. They never know what bids they lost out on. The only person who benefits from a private sale is the buyer (unless the vendor is very desperate to sell in a hurry)!

    Steadily increased in desirability/value over the last 5 years.

    My last one, I paid £250 for, quite happily, as IMO it's the nicest TF watch ever produced

    Sold mine years ago for around £100 or less if I recall. Didn't wear it often as it felt a bit small at the time, but I really regret letting it go now. Along with the PRS-5 it was my favourite TF watch and somehow a bit "prettier" than the other military watches.

    Would be great to see this one reissued, but the Smiths Military PRS-29a has rather taken its place in the line-up.

    Many thanks for the information. I really like the watches design and will keep an eye out for a good one on the second hand market
