OK guys, I know I`ve slagged off watch winders many times on here, and I`m still not a fan!
However, I really could do with owning one to help test watches after reassembly. A conventional watch winder isn`t perfect for this, but it'll help me a lot. I`m not becoming a watch-winder convert (leaopard never changes his spots!) but I`ve reached the conclusion that NOT owning one is daft. It's never been a priority, I`ve always spent money on other tools etc, but the time has come to get one.
Ideally, I want one that's robust and not expensive. Appearance doesn`t matter a jot, this is to be used solely as a tool to do a job, it doesn`t need to look pretty. It needs to run in both directions and (hopefully) not be too noisy.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? All suggestions welcome, even sarcastic ones......my skin is thick!

I have a Modalo. Good quality. No issues so far.
I know you may not want to spend to much but I bought one of Amazon that was poor quality and it was noisy when turning my heavier watches.
Spend a little more. It will always retain a bit of value if you decide you don't need one.
