Excellent choice and a very nice 5513, great patina on the dial and matching hands and a lovely vintage bezel insert.

    Enjoy in good health.

The condition is truly superb too.The case back has a name on the very outer edge but well worn,Marc said he could have it laser welded, but having arrived home from work and looked more closely I don't think I'm too concerned as I was when I first saw it.

So leave or let Marc laser weld?.and would it have it totally as was before anything was inscribed?.

That's gorgeous. Gratz. I'd leave it if you are not bothered by it.

If it is a single prior owner whose name is etched,I would leave it. Adds character IMO.
OTOH, if it has changed hands multiple times, not so much of a positive.

I would leave it. If the etching is on the caseback no one is going to see it. Post a photo if you wish.

Yup, that looks like a lovely watch, Paul.

I don't care for Rolex at all really, but when I see them looking like that I do desire them.
