Looking at the length of the swing arm it looks a fairly dedicated straight liner! I'm sure you have seen the old footage of ghost rider on YouTube. He used a turbo Busa and did humungous speeds on the motorways.

    Some lovely bikes already.
    I must apologise for:
    1)the simply awful photos and
    2)the state of the workshop....

    The 'go to' bike

Love that RVF. I had an NC30 for a bit, not pristine but could ride anywhere, was a temporary replacement for an immaculate CBR600RR that had to sell on when had a hernia done and nigh on 2 months without work meant had to cash it in,

Much lower power than the 600r but so useable and revved and revved for so much fun,
My mate I got it from invested in brilliant mods, led brake lights, repainted wheels, open race can, oh sounded fab... howling v4,

most of all stainless hoses and the gold RVF USD forks with complete SP 1 front carriers, calipers and discs.....Christ did that handle and stop for an old bike, sadly that went to go towards moving south west but I loved it....

Should have kept it...for tracks would have been superb...

I have a F800GS but seriously want a R1200GS. The latest model is an absolutely incredible machine (the one with the quick shift pro)

Problem is once you get used to all the driving aids you can't drive anything else lol

Its a real shame I cant see your pictures because I know the Brutale is a fantastic looking bike.
I love that rear wheel. Well everything except for the number plate carrier really. Hopefully somebody technical can sort your pictures out for us.

Some very nice bikes there... and some Harleys too!

Just changed the CBF1000 for a 2008 Hornet 600 as it was just too heavy when pushing around, in and out of the garage etc.

Really feel the difference in low end power but it's a good bike none the less, and a lot lighter to handle.

I had a F800gs 2013 - most unreliable big bike (over 125cc) I've ever owned. Back to the dealer every two months. Was gutted. Handled so well and faster round the bends than it looks. But had to go back to Hondas after only 8 months ownership

The Fazer 1000 was a sublimely quick do-anything bike, & whilst I probably should have gone onto the BMW 1200 GSA... I've always wanted to try-out a big HD
    TT

Last bike I had was a ZX6R P8F bought new, then promptly stolen from my building car park 8 months and 600 miles later 😡 I've not had one since and SWMBO isn't keen on me getting a road bike, though a track bike is on the cards. The ZX6R looked like this, sorry for the stock pic:

Had this the last five years -

The picture was taken when i had it for sale recently and was considering trading it for a Supermoto or Ducati Monster. Thankfully I came to my senses and refitted the Gucci parts such as the power commander and Akrapovic's. I still have the urge for something different and a MSX125 is looking a good bet as a second bike.

A couple of years ago, I went to chat to a man about lathes. Whilst in the shed, I spotted the back end of a motorcycle peeping out from under a pile of who knows what. He told me that it belonged to a friend who was supposed to have collected it "ages ago"! I told him that I was always up for a project and that if ever his friend was going to sell it etc. A couple of weeks ago, I got a call, saying that his friend was coming to help clear the shed and that if I was interested ...........................
    Here is the beast!

Indeed, the legendary Superdream (or wet dream as it was somewhat harshly nicknamed, perhaps due to the 100mph 2 stroke 250s appearing at the time). I had a CB125T which was its baby brother.

When I told "her" it was a Superdream, she said that it looked more like a nightmare!

The paintwork is definitely aftermarket colour and will be re-done either shiny black or original red with new decals to match.

Fun? Oh yes! Already had the carbies out all over the workbench. It had a new timing chain tensioner and has sat ever since. She now runs! In fact purrs like a kitten ( if you ignore the holes in the silencers!) The metal polisher has been well and truly reborn over the weekend. Ebay is being scoured for decent shiny parts.
Yes! definitely lots of fun to be had.

Cheers for the heads up but I want to get xmas and the winter out of the way before considering a new two wheeled toy. The only reason I haven't bought a new one for £99pm is the crazy amount of upgrades available. The £2.8k list price is only the start of it with all the goodies from Akrapovic, Ohlins, Yoshimura etc available, not to mention the big bore kits, CR gearboxes and even turbos from the smaller specialist companies. I've seen a number of MSX's with +4k spent on them and my head is telling me to wait until they start filtering down to the s/h market but £99pm for a new one is still tempting...
