Are the minute hands coloured to match the bezel? Can't quite make it out in that picture. Hope not!

    Finally ;)

Not a fan of the prospex logo on the dial (and most likely on the crown as well) and would prefer the crown at 4 o'clock and a black dial/bezel version with regular silver hands would be nice, but I'm in anyway ;)

Could be and if so the jury will be out for a while I guess.
If they are I think I have a hunch of what the most popular mod of 2016 will be.

    Slam dunk from Seiko...

Really cool. Price quoted is USD 258. Hacking movement. Just not sure why May models are announced so early already.

Before anyone gets in with "6309 values will drop" and "I wish they did" this and "I wish they'd done" that...

Very nice, I like it. Looks to be a fitting successor to the 6309. Anyone know if it's got sapphire or Hardlex?

Finally, Seiko have got their fingers out of their bums and gave the public what they want. A modern cushion cased diver. Hand winding and hacking too. Hurrah. Let ownership and the modding begin.

I too would like to know this but the watch looks ruddy superb & it's about time they released a modern 6309 - if that really is the price then it's a bargain - I'm a happy bunny :)

    Seiko.

Oh, you meant dealers ? I guess everywhere that sells JPN model Seikos will have them eventually, there may well be an initial rush to get one though, I know I'd quite like one :)

Like the blue one, I suspect we will have to import these from the far east.

They look great. I quite fancy the coke bezel which is unlike me.

Who's got a guess on price? More than an SKX007/009 I assume?

I assumed the K1 in the model number signified it would not be a JDM only model?

Now that I've seen the better quality image, I have to say I like everything except for the coloured minute hand. But if Seiko history is anything to go by, I expect that SKX007 hands should fit. I think I have my next mod project! :)

So is this the replacement for the rumoured to be discontinued SKX007 etc.?

That would explain the SKX-level pricing, which I thought was surprisingly cheap for what looks like part of the Prospex range.

Like the idea but would want to know dimensions before buying.
I hope they don't supersize them or make them too thick.
The dimensions of the original 6309's is perfect and they sit so well on the wrist.

Does anyone know which caliber? Prospex so I am assuming 6R15 or better.

The existence of this watch just made that rumour credible.
