It's genuinely made me stop looking at other watches totally as this is the last watch I'll ever buy for myself. For what I want from a watch, it is 100% perfect and I still love looking at it 6 months in.

Until yesterday I couldn't have posted in this thread given that my purchases tended to be Omega and IWC. However, yesterday this arrived:

I picked up this gorgeous Submariner 16800 yesterday. My first ever Rolex. It's from 1980 which is my birth year ...I love the creamy plots and matching hands...It's in amazing condition for an almost 36 year old watch and it has some warranty as well. Can't stop looking at it!

I really can see what all the fuss is about now!

My two Rolexes are a pair of Explorers, which seem to cover a lot a bases between them:

A third and fourth are in plan but that will depend on some fierce self-discipline in terms of saving and selling in 2016!

Truthfully I dislike most of the current Rolex line up, but that looks the dogs danglers,

The rubber looks perfect, a bracelet would make it look obscene.

My taste has changes along with the depth of my pockets

    Enjoying this post.
Some day an early ZenithDaytona will come into the picture and some yellow gold. The pull of vintage is strong. Sorry for the quality of some pictures.

Thank you Craig. I got the watch from Kash on here, I love it! it's great. I had a desire for a gold watch and the blend of rose gold with the black strap seems less bling and a good intro - although I fancy a gold president now :-)

    Show your Rolex.

Just picked this up last week. 16570 A serial.

Tried it on a perlon at first as the 'Rolex rattle' was distracting.

I then worked out a way of fixing the rattle and went back to the oyster, but as I write this now on my iPad, the rattle is back!

This pic was taken with the watch in a metal bucket :-)

    Show your Rolex.

I have a real itch for one of these! Will have to find someone who wants a Bremont though to part trade!

Love the White dial. The only white dial sports worth its weight!

    (Well was anyway).

    Awesome.

Nice photograph showing the sub on a nato!

I will have to try this at some point. I also really like the tritium dials on the older models… I have included a photo of my 16610 below:

Most of the time it spends its life on the oyster but every now and again it goes on the nato and it brings a smile to my face. Such a versatile watch

In the TZ universe anything goes

I'm sure there are plenty that have bought more than one in 2016. I did myself! But the second one had to go back...

Yes it is Andy. I prefer the blue colour on this model rather than the SB dial:)
