^^ I would keep the yacht master myself - more unique design compared to an every day datejust

Had this over 18 months now & only been worn a couple of times. The pcl's are gone for now & a little extra colour added so hopefully I can enjoy it before it goes back to the lockup.

Well, the Mexican drug lord 'Chapo' is shown in the latest Netflix series wearing a black dial Daytona. Doubt he will be featured in the Rolex adverts.

I have to say that is one of the nicest watches to appear on SC for a long time and I was watching progress over the Christmas period and if my deal fell through I would have been competition. A lovely watch and I am surprised it didn't sell quicker. A bargain me thinks

Agreed. But then I think the 41mm Datejust is one of the nicest watches in the Rolex catalogue, especially with the Jubilee bracelet.

I have to agree, it just seems completely sorted. I only tried on a datejust in the AD to give me an idea of how a two tone watch looked but the moment I put it on I could see it was such a well rounded product. Rolex doing what they do best I guess and I was very lucky that this was on SC at the time.

Bi-metal on leather looks elegant and not as flashy as all metal. Nice.

Came across this, can't recall if I ever posted. Probably closer to water than most will get. On my wrist I think I actually prefer the regular black bezel, but with a photos perspective I can't help but love the look of the aged bezel insert.

I have the same, I prefer the look of my faded Pepsi insert on photos but I prefer wearing it with vivid service insert instead.

The explorer is back on the wrist and i it is the perfect rolex for me. Not too bulky and completely under the radar, although it could do with a little clean. Anyone got any tips? Especially the small hard to reach areas?

^^^ Remove the bracelet and drop it into a ultrasonic cleaner for a few minutes while you clean the inside of the lugs with an old toothbrush or soft brush then rinse both and dry before refitting bracelet.

    I use one like this.

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ultrasonic...AAAOSwg0BZ0VoF

And one of these for removing the bracelet if you haven't got one.

I received this strap along with my recent Seiko 7a28 purchase and as the saying goes, if the strap fits - wear it.

I did the same, tried one on just to see how it looked while I was looking at something else. Ended up buying it as it's just a nice classic watch.
