Sheesh! I would give my left nut for one of them (well not the one at the front).

    Very, very nice indeed.

I am loving the Sub at the minute. The DaytonaC is the most comfortable watch I have ever worn and it is my favourite for sure.

    Losing love for the BLNR.

At the risk of sounding a pedant, the thread is titled: "Show YOUR Rolex", not "...ones that the AD still owns".

Daytona C and Skydweller are future purchases, Airking was in the display and I thought why not.

Yes I agree with you , you are being pedantic.

Everything that is wrong with this forum on show with your reply , some folk just can't wait to trip someone up , I cannot get my head around this sort of pedantic reply.

Let me help you get your head around it...

One of the things most "wrong" about this, and other watch forums, is how many seem to use them as little more than a platform to brag about their latest trinket or bauble. It's as shallow as it is vulgar.

Based upon the title, I would hope a "Show YOUR Rolex" thread was made up of enthusiasts sharing the watches they have some sort of personal affinity with.

Comparatively, posting photos sitting in the jewellers sporting the watches you don't even own, that you have ZERO connection with (in this particular thread), is beyond pathetic. In my humble opinion of course.

Not because I'm bitter (because I'm happy with my lot).
And not because that poster was "stealing brand kudos" (because honestly who cares).
But because it's just quite sad to try and show off with things you don't even own.

But that's the world we live in I guess: gloss and vanity and trying to keep up with the Jones's of the Internet watch forum.

I have a Rolex and have never posted a picture of it anywhere. Maybe I do have a life?!

You are right of course as the title does state show "your" Rolex, not "show any Rolex you can try on at a dealer that you may be buying or may never buy but don't actually own" Now that would be a hell of a title for a thread
