    http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/...3DLoake&ps=max

Fill your boots as they say.

edit : might be worth checking out now and again as they've added a few more styles.

Thanks OP. I went for the brown suede brogues with pink stitching.

Don't need them, and my wife calls me Imelda, but couldn't resist for 60 squid.

ordered both colours in a 9 and a 10, good chance one size will fit. My Church Saharas have stretched and are a little on the large size nowwwww, so the 9's should be good.

    Cheers!

Debs don't tell you the shoe name, so just did a bit of a Google, and the suede brogues with red accents is the Loake Leamington. They are from the 1880 range so top notch English made stuff.

The chukkas appear to be Loake Haydock from the 1880 range as well. The chukkas are OOS in my size, but somehow I'm not a big chukka fan. Whereas suede brogues..........

    neeeeeice,

just grabbed the blue chukka's, click and collect £5 voucher too, pay'd by missus store card so 171 points into the bargain.

I am tempted to buy those suede brogues too, but I have too many already, but not in suede though

EDIT, just grabbed the brogues, if |I don't like them I will take them back, or stick them on SC at cost price for someone to grab a bargain

ohhh thank you very much OP, a true heads up.

Great heads up, got the Lemington in brown and Haydock in tan both size 8. I fancied trying some suede for a while so this is perfect, and from the 1880 range too! I was doing some reseach on the models last night and turned up a worn (battered) pair of Haydocks in tan that sold on eBay this week for £71...someone is probably kicking themselves. If mine don't fit/suit, I might well put them up on eBay!! £126 odd all in and should arrive tonight between 6-10pm...pics to follow to whet the appetite of all those that will have to wait a bit longer...

Thanks for the heads up bigvic... The size chart shows these coming up quite small... I'm imbetween an 11 and 12 and so had to go blue, there was only an 11 in the brown... Pick up from the Trafford centre, bargain!

  26. #26
Slighly off topic but related, has anyone tried the Charles Thyrwitt ceder shoe trees? I have a Loake pair, but need three more and they £40 each, the CH ones are £19.95.

  27. #27
Bought the brown suede brogues too! 3 Pairs of loakes for under £200 - bargain!

Yes, have loads of them and you can usually find a 10% discount code online too. Best value for money trees that I've managed to track down.

The Loake Leamington are on the same last as the Burford, and I have the Burfords and I'm a solid 7 in them.

    For comparison I'm a 7 in Grenson Stanley's, but a 6.5 in Archie.

The detailing looks a pinky shade of red on the photos.

Anyway, get in touch with your feminine side and become a bit more metrosexual. They'll go well with my pink (not the brand) shirt.

Thanks for the info. My Stanley's are in 9s so hopefully 9s in Leamington will be fine. And don't worry, I'm all over metrosexual. I hang around musicians every day! :-o

With a couple of notable exceptions I had most members down in the metrosexual camp!

I will add one difference between the Stanley and Leamingtons, and that the former is a wider G fit compared to an F on the Loakes. I definitely notice it but not in an uncomfortable way.

Blue Chukkas coming my way- sweet heads up, thanks OP!

Already have a pair of Leamingtons, and the stitching is definitely RED, not pink. Look great. Bought from this very forum new in box, as a bargain, but still more than these prices. Great shoe, but mine are very stiff, taking a bit of wearing in.

    Win some, lose some...

I have had the blue in 8 for a year now and they are great boots. If the tan do not tick the box give me a shout.
