    Omega Planet Ocean advise

I'm currently looking at getting a Planet Ocean and have narrowed it down to either the Orange bezel or the Gun Metal bezel. Now as they both share the same face with the orange numbers I was wondering if anyone knows if you can just buy an extra bezel and swap them over, as this would give me the best of both worlds.
    Thanks

I'm sure you can buy another bezel from Omega - wont be cheap mind and theres the cost/hassle of getting it changed.

I went orange years ago - my son has his eye on that as I've not worn it for a while and I always come close to buying a newer version (not orange this time though)

Yes - although the bezel swap isn't a DIY job ... I had Steve at Ryte Time do it for me for a reasonable charge.
I bought the rubber strap as well to give me even more combos ...

FYI 5 years ago the black bezel cost me £160 from Cousins

Just googled again and it's £216!

    Or even more at cousins

And not any cheaper from Ofrei in the US.

Don't buy just the insert from eBay - they're rubbish.

Thanks for the fast replies. Thats a shame I was hoping it might be a 5 minute diy job. Think I'll just have to pick and at the moment I'm leaning towards the grey version, a trip to the local Omega Boutique might be in order to try them both on.

Wait what?? I seriously hope that is a replica seamaster.

For anyone watching, Ian is just joking. Do not do this at home, only if you have the right equipment. A kitchen knife is not the right tool...

Quick snap of my grey one for balance.

Just back from Omega, forgot what a hulk it is! Undecided weather to keep it or not at the moment. This thread has rekindled my happy feelings when I first got the watch.

The bezle swaps are very cool.

Good luck with the purchase 👍

Am I correct in thinking Omega now use a ceramic version of the orange bezel?

99% sure it's just the limited edition platinum GMT at 99k US. (And possibly other GMTs).

    Anodised aluminium for the rest.
