Alternative to Sky, BT and Virgin TV

Can anyone suggest a good Android device to plug into a TV?

I have a T8 box. You can pick the up for £80-£100. Great value, football, boxing, movies etc.

I use a Chromecast with Netflix and it works faultlessly.

That looks interesting, what add on do you use for Live TV?

    Thanks guys

I've been fighting with Sky for far too long, so I am looking forward to making the cancellation call when I have something else in place.

I was looking forward to that too, but when the time came, they did me such a good deal on TV, Phone and Broadband I simply had to stay! They now have me contracted in for another 12 months.

I've got that set up, but you need an add on to run Live TV - there are loads so just wondering which is the best?

I bought a Minix Neo X8 android box that arrived Saturday. Haven't been able to plug it in yet because my back went on Friday and I can't move!
Hopefully my son in-law is coming over tonight to set it up and probably drink all my beer!

I stream from my Samsung Galaxy Tab via Chromecast which works very well. I even plugged the Chromecast into my Amp so can now enjoy everything in surround sound (not convinced it's fully digital 5.1/7.1 but still way better than the naff in-built TV speakers.

Streamed movies and latest TV series from Amazon and also Showbox Apk.

Amazon Fire TV is very good, especially for Prime members. It comes in either box or stick form, with voice controlled remote.
