    Newbie just saying hello.

Hello to you all, my name is Les and probably like most of you I have been looking around for watch guidance and inspiration before finding this forum.
I have a small (and judging be some of your images, modest) collection of watches but have recently been bitten by the Moonwatch bug. This drove me to seek informed information.
Chronologically here are my current watches.

    Seiko Kinetic 5M62-OBOO (see below)
Rolex Datejust 16234 with a blue dial, 18ct white gold fluted bezel and steel bracelet.
Oris Big Crown Pointer Date 754 7551 43 61 LS
    MOTO360 (stop laughing)
Seiko 5 7S26-0480 with a champagne dial and steel bracelet.

This was a gift from my wife back in 2002 and it never left my wrist for three years, hence the scratches. Just had a new capacitor fitted at my local jeweller in Nottingham. Or more accurately the jeweller sent it out to be sorted. Can anyone recommend a good watch jeweller in Nottingham?

Any who, I currently have a Longines Heritage 1954 on order and eagerly anticipate its arrival although I made the mistake of ordering a watch nobody seemed to stock so it was ordered from the factory. Which is shut for the summer. Three weeks and counting.

Enough for now. I will post a pic of my Rolex soon.

Rolex Datejust 16234 with a blue dial

Again bought as a gift from my wife in 2005, this is my humble Datejust with a blue dial.

It lived on my wrist for many a long year (well 4-5) and is still my regular special occasion time piece.

Not immediately incoming but I suspect I will be looking around come next spring, unless of course I find an absolute cracker with an offer I can't refuse.

Welcome to the forum.... Great place to be, make sure you set your wallet (or the misses purse as the case may be) to empty! It's going to get expensive ....

This is from the thread "Completing the trinity"

By comparison my DateJust feels mighty humble.

And that's me until the Longines Heritage 1954 arrives.

Why thank you, on both comments.
A smartwatch with direct access to Google, tells you how unfit you are, shows txt messages and news updates while also telling you the time. Not bad for less than £200.
