Stunning watches , both of them, love the canvas too.
Given how often I say it, a lot of you might be aware of my love for MM300 in its different iterations.
I have had the 03 for a while and had been curious for a long time how the 012 stacks up against it.
Finally took the plunge and bough the 012.
Here are some comparision pics.
Some obvious differences
Dial shade- 03 appear a touch darker
Bezel markers- in gold on 012 as opposed to silver on 03
Red tipped second hand on 012
Difference in the writing on the dial
IMO, both are absolute gorgeous. If forced to choose 03 might nudge out 012 by a hair
Stunning watches , both of them, love the canvas too.
Cheers..

love the secondhand red tip but that halifax logo just grinds my gears
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
To my eyes they are both glorious - honest, full-blooded and unaffected.
Though far from suitable as an everyday wearer, my SBDX001 probably delivers more pleasure than any other I own.
Just lov 'em both and the little differences.
I keep thinking i might try a canvas for a change on my 001, but heck the rubber is just so comfy.
Ta for sharing

You've great taste. Do you notice much difference with the diashield on the 12 vs the 3? I'm liking the gasgasbones as well, it's a good match.
A gorgeous pair and the Carl's strap looks superb, good choice.
Thanks you for the comparison for i am wondering the same. But, i think Seiko cheat a bit for re-issuing SBDX012 IMHO. If i were have to own i will get a SBDX03.
SBDX003 + SBDX012 bezel =
Maybe in 10 years time when the next anniversary LE is released...
Classic beauties, both of them.
Just got word from the posty that I can pic up a certain Seiko classic at the postoffice this afternoon........
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Thanks, gentlemen for the kind words.
Both stunning watches! Enjoy them in good health!
They both look fantastic, off to do some research.
Love my regular MM300 a lot. Hard to explain but I find myself wearing it a lot, just for what it is. Lovely pieces. Mostly drawn to the red tip seconds.
Like them both and enjoyed the comparison. Got to love the second hand red bit echo of the 6105.
looks very nice and congrats.
love for the MM in any form is completely understandable...it's an impressive watch for the price point!
