Thanks, didn't realise Neil did them.

Only just noticed it has a count down bezel, nice feature.

Have always liked that a lot. A lot.
I have heard some negative comments about the bezel action and the lume. Your thoughts?

Bezel is Bi directional, probably to do with the countdown timer I guess. It is not a friction fit and moves like a traditional bezel
I guess the phrase is ratcheted. Seems solid as a rock to be honest. The lume is as good as the SMPc which I just had.
I suppose if I was being ultra picky then the lume has been designed to be brighter on the hands and bezel spot than on
the minute markers.I guess if it's good enough for the German Marines then it's gonna be fine for my tough office life :-)

Cheers, the pic is actually lighter than real life and the dial has a quite cool matt finish.

    Wellsy,

congratulations on getting something very different from the crowd.

I love the blue shade of the dial/bezel and the moulded strap.

In fact - can't fault it

Having read a few reviews, I'm really really impressed.

Beautiful watch from a very underrated brand. I've been eyeing this and the SAR Flieger Chronograph for a long while.

A watch I have admired for a while, would love to see one in the flesh.

A comment from another forum that I Dug up which Inhad referred to earlier
    -
MG looks great online, good in person, yet is far too flawed in function.

The bezel is loose. It rotates in both directions and there is no solid click feel anywhere.

The lume is a joke. It uses a light coat of C1.

The blasted case finish will show the slightest of marks.

The lugs are very long and with the OEM rubber strap they appear even longer and honestly it looks awkward on the wrist.

I'm a daily strap changer and this watch has a very difficult two flat screw strap changing system.

It was fun while it lasted but unfortunately all its shortcomings outweighed it's prettiness on a blue isofrane.

For me,I like it very appealing in pics and still can't decide because of the above comment. There were similar comments on the thread from other owners. Which seems a pity as it looks to be a very pretty watch.

I'm not sure who did the review but he either had a copy (unlikely) or was very unlucky. As mentioned by me the bezel does click properly in
both directions and the lume is as good as an SMP which I just had. Perhaps he has small wrists as it is quite a big watch hence it looking awkward.
Not sure what he means about a blasted case. It is a normal titanium finish. I'll say this , I've had watches from Rolex, Omega and Breitling in the last
few years and the build quality and design of the Muhle is at least as good. By the way 4 days in and it has neither gained or lost a second !!
    Hope that helps.

My experience was just the opposite. I thought it looked good in photos but I was much more impressed with it in the metal.

For the bezel think an Everton shirt blue but metallic. For the dial a matt navy blue.

Thats a very pleasing design, I'd rather this over a lot of typical mass produced divers. My old SMP 2531.80 comes to mind.
