    The ultimate PRS-18 set?

    Having had just one watch for a while (Smiths Everest) and being extremely happy with it, I have recently been able to go back into the market for another watch. But what to buy?

    I thought long and hard about the watches I've owned and those I might want to try in the budget I had. I have always been a fan of divers and this quickly became the focus of my attention.

    I could go on about my considerations but I won't bore you. I decided on the PRS-18Q for several reasons; best value watch I've ever owned, rugged yet smart depending on strap, 300m WR for the local leisure pool and I could buy a new one with a warranty which is always a bonus.

    The 18 arrived from Eddie first week in August and I've not taken it off yet! I have bought a selection of straps that I think make this the ultimate 18 set, the straps are;

    - Orange Isofrane

    - PRS-82 rubber

    - TF natos in Coyote Brown, Black and Original Light Grey

    - Monkeyswag natos in Bronze Bond and Navy Blue

    Needless to say I'm very happy with my lot.

    Some pics:

    Brilliant! It looks surprisingly good on the orange Isofrane. Not a combo I would have thought of.

    I've been thinking about this and decided that that's an excellent two-watch combo. You've got the Everest that can be dressed up or down, and the 18Q that's a superb tool watch.

    And both are no-date, which is to my personal preference too.

    :)

    Great set! I have the Speedbird III and the 18q, plus a G-shock. As my other hobbies require some investment at present, I'm pretty happy with that three watch set. I like your case and strap arrangement.
    Cheers
