Incoming: Omega DeVille Coaxial chronometer om armadillo

I had a bit of luck recently and decided to give myself a nice little present!

A 2004 DeVille chronometer with the co-axial movement.
Although I 'm not a big fan of Omega, this is a watch I really like and wanted for a long time.

I was very glad to find one on the armadillo steel bracelet.

Are there more guys with this one in the collection around here?

Great watch, I don't have one but have always liked the look of the bracelet, maybe one day I'll succumb.

Yours has an unusual colour dial, I like it.

    Is it comfortable to wear?

That is one very handsome watch, love the dial colour, hands and that rare bracelet. Great purchase.

I used to have one from the same series on a gator strap - that bracelet is awesome!

I don't actually particularly like the styling, but I have to say that that bracelet is very cool. I'd have it for that!

Great looking watch, really like the grey dial with that bracelet. The combination reminds me of the Constellation de luxe but with everything in monochrome.

Well done! I really like those DeVille's (superb case/lugs) and the Armadillo bracelet is spectacular; I've got this particular model on my radar for quite a while. The only thing that holds me back is that I probably won't wear it that often (more a sports watch guy). But Omega made no mistakes with this one IMO.

Love the bracelet, pity they don't use it on the Aqua Terra.

The AT is a bit too toolish for such an elaborate bracelet, I think.
I think they should make some Constellation with this bracelet.
The inspiration for it evidently came from the early Constellation Grand Luxe in gold with brickwork/armadillo bracelet:

I have a power reserve on the same strap.....

It may be up for sale soon though.

It always gets positive remarks and the strap really sets it apart.

    Nice watch, understated class.

Not sure about the bracelet, it's a copy of a design they used briefly in the 50s. A nice alligator or croc strap would be my preference.

I just bought a OEM deployant clasp ;-)
Probably, I will be changing it like I do with my Speedy 105.003.
I wear that watch on bracelet during the summer (warm, sweaty) and on a strap during the winter.

The bracelet is a pain in the backside to size, but once you have it sized correctly, it is extremely comfortable, very supple and soft.
