Pilots would be my choice of the two, although neither would be my first GO choice. Gotta love their moonphase watches
I have been offered 2 GO's, at the same price.
Both have a cal. 39 version movement, one is a chrono and one has the panoramadate.
Which one would you choose? Why?
(Pictures taken by the owners, they are of the watches that have been offered.)

Probably don't need 10 then :P
The pilot with the pano date isn't one I'd seen before but it does look good, I'm sure it is at least the equal of the IWC
The pilot is a Senator Auto Date, it has the cal. 38, a cal. 39 without swan neck and without gold rotor insert. It isn't as decorated as the cal. 39 and hence, was cheaper and lacked the see through caseback from the Senator Panorama Date.
The chrono was one of the top models and if it didn't have the date, I would instantly go for it.
However, I find the date hard to get used to.
The chrono all day every day, but it's very much the style I go for.
If prefer it without date ( as it looks in that picture) or with the 'big date' which is a GO trademark for me.
I don't really like either of them, but if pushed I'd go for the pilot.
Only two guys with an opinion down here????
My opinion is that I wouldn't wear a watch with Roman numerals and the date on the pilot is misplaced and annoying. So I wouldn't buy either of them.
The more I look at the chrono, the more I like it; coin edge bezel, lozenge pushers, I'm sure that date looks fine from square on, just a lousy angle.
Neither, they are both a bit blah...
Pilot with panodate for me
I'm a big GO fan but neither of these are doing anything for me. If that's your choices though I'd go for the pilot with the big date as that function is one of the stand out GO features for me.
I'd go for the pilot as well; in my view it approximates to a design classic (and one that originates out of Germany). The chronograph is classically styled but looks like it's taken most of its' design cues from a grandfather clock. I would only have something of the style of the chronograph if it had Breguet on the dial but the, on second thoughts, I probably wouldn't want that either. I also like the execution of the big date on the pilot.
Normally I don't reply just to be negative, but in this case - neither. The chrono doesn't look anything special. The pilot watch has their signature big date but I don't like the hands. They have done nicer versions of both styles and these are "also rans" to me. I would only buy one if I wanted to see what a GO was like in real life.
of those two, i would take the panorama date.
