    (Not) Gutted.....

In all my years here this has only happened once before.

Just let something go that I now realise I really wanted to/should have kept.

Sure it's not the first time anyone has had this dilemma or the last.

im trying desperatly to hang onto a couple of nice pieces and sell the lesser ones, to fund more lesser ones so i can buld up to another top watch, but you end up having way too much money tied up in essentially stuff i dont wear

    Really nice ND

Some cracking posts up there, had to think which forum I had posted in for a min. The 'watch' section use to be the last bastion of true WISDOM on TZ, not anymore by the looks.

I was pretty gutted after I'd sold my JLC Master Calendar... Took me a while, but I bought another one.

    It's the only solution :)

I'm a sentimental old fool, wish I could let items of value go without feeling fed up after, even if its to buy a better version..

I have a car that is now classed as a classic and has risen in value over the last few years, I need a newer everyday car and the missus could do with a new car too + I could have a dream watch all with selling the old car, but no - I just cant let it go..

    Gutted.....

Last year I sold three watches. Right now I have them all bought back. Two completely new, one the exact modded version I sold here. I am a collector I guess.

I would say don't by the same again to try and make up for it, get something different and try and move on. As soon as you buy the same watch again you will remember why you sold the lady one in the first place.

To the guy with the classic car, while I would love to own a classic car if selling it is going to benefit you and the family maybe time to move it along?

I always thought it was a Negligent Discharge, but that’s firearms related?

Correct in that a ND is never great when used in military circles.

    ND also = Non Date

Plenty of time and opportunity to consider it, and buy another if you so choose.
I just bought another 116610LV today, after foolishly selling mine some time ago to a good TZ friend, who still cherishes it.
These things can easily be rectified

The one watch I'd love to have back is a 14060M which I traded to Blowers along with two other watches and a bunch of £££ for an AP Diver. I don't regret the trade whatsoever, but one day I'll have a Sub back in the collection.
    Which model was yours, Paul?

Also referred to as IE which stands for inadvertent ejaculation.

It was a U Series T<25 dial 14060 with pat underway and a sharp untouched case Neely.

    Will be back home soon.

I just love a simple two line dial and the grab and go of the ND. Are you looking at replacing soon??
