    buying a used macbook

Where's the best places ( dealers, not private ) to buy a secondhand macbook from ? Apart from apple refurb of course. Ideally I'd like somewhere with decent prices , a years guarantee ( if poss ) and a good rep for customer service if there are any probs.
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

I can't help, but by coincidence:

One of the TV shopping channels had refurbed 13.3" versions for £450 around 7pm tonight.
I don't know how old they were - but they were being sold with the Yosemite OS.

Cheers jase, that's the only site I've come across that has given me any confidence , problem is with so many different specs its hard to know exactly what I'm looking for and to compare like with like to get an idea of relative price ( IT numpty here )
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

Are they anything like ipads and iphones that can be remote locked? If so, need to check that you have comeback if the previous owner locks it.

I know it's not what you asked, but I've always sold and bought privately on eBay, never had a problem.
