This is my Black Bay/Blue homage - but I can't claim the credit for it. I traded it with a fellow TZer, but he didn't know who had done it either. It's Seiko based and with the date/day wheels covered, it's a great grab and go.

Hello all
I thought I would share this, I am quite proud of it, as its only my 2nd mod.
I bought this off the forum a couple of weeks ago, in stock condition. I always wanted to try a Squale but it was a little too close to a Rolex submariner for my liking.

The Mercedes hands have always put me off the Rolex Submariner and its the only reason I have never bought one; however I do have an unhealthy obsession with Tudor Subs. So now my Squale looks like this.

A simple change of the hands and the replacing the green OEM bezel for a blue OEM bezel turns the watch in to a black bay / blue 7021 homage (can I find a roulette date wheel to fit????).
Finally a group shot with the real deal (7016) and its younger brother.

...but I ended up swapping hands for MilSub style sword hands.
I also removed the cyclops - which didn't fit well with the Zodiac dial IMHO as it had a framed date window.

The sword hands work really well with that dial, all those sharp edges look fantastic! I'm also a sucker for vintage lume...but I ended up swapping hands for MilSub style sword hands.
