    Oversized strap on Rolex sub

Has anybody fitted an oversized strap, as in wider, to a Rolex sub?
Maybe a 24mm and notch the lug ends to fit, just think maybe a wider strap would look good?

I think it would make the Sub look smaller. Is that what you're aiming at?

Mmm I think you might be right, hadn't thought of that, I have a few suede straps and the way they taper to the buckle makes it look small. Had it on a NATO all last week and have grown to like the size, although I have 8" wrists. It seems to me that the non tapering strap makes it appear bigger, so my thought was to maybe go to a 24mm strap tapered to say 20 at the buckle giving an illusion of it being bigger

Could you not just buy a non-tapering strap in the correct size for the sub meaning you don't have to notch the ends but still get the width of the strap you desire?

    What about a GGB?

You could try a dimodell chronissimo - black with white stitching and waterproof so not totally out of place on a diver, and the strap flares out from the lugs

Think what I will do is buy a cheap 24mm strap and notch it, see what it looks like
