Omega 53 - earliest one known?

    Dear All,

I'm just enquiring whether the issue number database that Foggy produced is still kept up to date? The reason for asking is that I have recently bought a '53 with an early issue number - 126/53 - which appears to be earlier than any of the ones on the database that I found on a quick google search.

Pics below. Do please let me know if you know of any with lower numbers.

    Many thanks,
    Martyn.

I can't remember the number on mine. The only number I can remember was paying £29 for it and selling it for £800. lol

On a serious note, I do think you have very good taste in watches, the group shot here is stunning, some of my all-time favourites.

That's very kind, thanks. The Rolex is a 6284, serial 936*** It's a standard 34mm size with 19mm lug width.

    Best wishes,
    Martyn.
