I can't help you with any photos, but there is a GMT currently for sale in SC for 3K. You won't have to put much (if anything) on top of the money from your Explorer for that.
For years I was lusted for a 16710 after seeing a picture of it on a Dutch watch forum from a mate of mine. But you know how it is: the price was too steep for me so I tried to save money for it. But you know probably how it goes: you see a nice watch popping up on your forum so you buy it and gone is the reserve. But now I finally pulled the trigger: first off I become 50 this year and I decided to sell my Polar Explorer and my wife will donate the rest. But the hard part is that I have to wait a few months, till August :( So to help me through, post here your pics from your GMT Master. Vintage or new.
To start off I post the pic that started it all for me.

Here's mine:
The Coke dials really are lovely.
I'm qite a fan of the Root Beer myself. I don't know much about them but they have always caught my eye.
The GMT is my daughter's favourite. I'm guessing it'll be another 12 years or so till it's going to be hers...
Those coke inserts are lovely indeed, but those vintage Pepsi's are also wonderful!
The faded ones are very nice

Yes, it is. I got mine from Crown and Buckle I believe. The quality is ok. Having never had any other Perlon straps before I don't have anything to compare it to, but I feel like you could probably find better quality. It looks good though, better than a Nato and has more of a summery feel.
Some lovely shots there I love mine and it's made my sub almost redundant and ready to be moved on
Currently making the face Homer Simpson makes when he thinks of doughnuts
My 16750 on a NATO
I'm also on the lookout for a matte dialed GMT pepsi but it seems difficult to find a nice one. All the ones on watchfinder seem to have had their hands replaced, any recommendations for other places to look for one?
My recently acquired GMT with faded pepsi. :)
Looking at this Rolex GMT Master II 116710 BLNR for myself.

I was toying with the idea of a grey suede strap (a la https://bulangandsons.com/product/bs...ap-20-mm-grey/) but I don't think my (replaced, sigh) bezel is faded enough for it to work :(
I hadn't heard of them until recently but all their straps look like they ooze quality - but i think they're quite keenly priced as well
I've just transferred mine back onto the bracelet for the moment, next time I tire of it I'll definitely be looking at a cheeky strap purchase though :)
Illustrative picture, for proof of course ;)
(Yes I have yet to set the date and time correctly) :P

Really very nice examples pass her! Meanwhile I bought a very nice 16710 from 1990 of which I will post some pics soon. I made the right choice to buy a GMT Master.
Man o man Pepsi GMT's are just plain beautiful :-)
Finally, here is my 16710! It came with the full set and a Solid Oyster bracelet in very good condition. Very happy :)

Here's my 3. Currently it's the root beer which seems to get worn the most.
Made a few fresh pics of it this rainy afternoon. What a fantastic watch is this. Excuse my enthusiasm :)
