Watch gaining 1 hour a day

Looking for some advice. I've seen a watch for sale at a good price given the make. It's a chronograph but in need of a service and the crown has some play but still works and changes day and date but is gaining an hour over 24 hours. This seems to me to need more than just regulating. Any thoughts? Cheers

    Yes more than regulating

a full strip down and service and possibly some parts so make sure you build costs into your purchase price

Thanks mate I thought so but wanted to check. The watch is a Sinn 103 on eBay and ending soon. Good price but I think I will give it a miss. Cheers

Dirt in hairsprig can cause this. Anyway, complete service is expected.
