Chinese crack down on bribery hurts Richemont

Luxury watch maker Richemont has become the latest brand hurt by a crackdown on bribery in China.

The owner of the Cartier, Piaget and Mont Blanc brands warned that sales slipped by 8 per cent in April after fewer watches were given as bribes to officials in the People’s Republic.

Have you ever bribed someone with a watch?

Nope, but I expect I would have done if I was previously trying to win business in China.
