If the dial is fake I think you can tell by the gap between some letters, but I cannot remember which letters.
hi guys, i' will buy this tudor ranger, but is fake or original ? thanks to all
If the dial is fake I think you can tell by the gap between some letters, but I cannot remember which letters.
It's not good - 'Oysterdate' is a single word on real ones - yours has a gap between Oyster and date - a sure sign of a redial/fake. Also, the minute hand should be parallel not flared - another sign of a fake.
????????????It doesn't seem to know whether its a Rolex or Tudor
then also this is fake ?

^ Certainly looks like a redialled Tudor Prince with new, after market hands.
They are asking $2100 for that thing... Cheeky.
Don't you need something to compare it too - if anyone owns one known to be 100% correct please post a photo or two to enable a decent cross check. This method is always recommended when trying to verify a valuable vintage watch.
I doubt fakers would bother faking this. not because it is a bad watch but hardly mainstream. And, it looks properly aged.
There are a lot of fakes out there, probably mainly because it's an easy dial swap on a lot of models for a big potential profit. The dial should look like this one:
(oysterdate one word)
(and different fonts for ranger and swiss too, I think, comparing to the one in the first post)
