wired speakers to wireless?

Is there now a way I can make my usually wired surround speakers wireless? We have had the room decorated and I don't want miles of cables long the skirting. I need to keep the powered sub the speakers plug into? Some sort of IR system?

KEF works well. I've installed a couple of these for customers. Transmitter sits with the A/V amp. Each rear speaker has a small receiver connected to the speaker and requires mains. Not cheap but the only thing that works well.

Before getting a sound bar I used one of these with some success, cheaper than the Kef equivalent but reliable

One rear I have a cable for run behind the skirting but for some reason they didn't do the other side. Centres I can manage with cable but wireless would give me more, and probably better, position options.

No idea...have a look at the specs:

• KEF Universal Wireless System
• KEF KHT5000.2 Wireless Kit

...and they seem remarkably similar. It seems as though KEF have discontinued production of both products and I don't see a replacement. Why is that?

Might this be another option: Marmitek Surround Anywhere 220? It's available on Amazon.co.uk...lower power than the KEF systems...single receiver for two speakers...and that's all I know about it!

I have a Samsung version and like all these systems they are great if your rear speakers are situated behind you and the you can hide the cabling but the drawback is the need to connect the speakers via cable/ wires to the receiver and of course power the receiver.Just about to move to a house with a open plan living space so will be looking at a decent sound bar possibly Bose.

All of these devices are subject to occasional Rf interference. Annoyingly, this appears as a loud clicking or static sound on those occasions.
