I'm only about 3-4 miles away from Phil (Sonyman) - but on a different exchange - I've just checked, and I get 8.1 MB/s Download, 0.78 MB/s Upload..... And not upgradeable...

TBH id have been happy to stay at the 18 down but its going to around 80 down and 20up and its the upload that's more important to me that and this is actually cheaper than what i'm paying now, the biggest joke is According to them at them at the mo I should only be getting 4mb down and 0.2 up ha ha

And mike its not your fault you live at the crap end of town :-)

Correction, that'll be you stuck in the town, me out in the countryside... Ooo-arrr, us bumpkins do wonder why you townies get the best of the utilities? I hear we're getting running water soon, though electricity is still a pipedream...

Having visited my parents and their 100mbps Internet I am rather sad to be back with my at best 10mbps. Wouldn't be so bad if they used all that bandwidth... Looking forward to getting back to the UK later this year. Just got to move to a part of the country virgin covers!
