    Minotto Marina Commander Moccagatta

This Panerai homage arrived today. It's got a Seagull ST36 handwind movement (6497 clone), comes in nice box and feels very nicely built.

A few pics below. More in this Google gallery.

    Minotto Marina Commander Moccagatta

Fairly good looking piece, heck of a name Minotto Marina Commander Moccagatta.
It got me thinking a new homage brand and just (nearly) call the watches what they 'are'

along the lines of the Nunya PAM-H, or SUB-H etc etc

I assumed it was a new Cafe Nerro special coffee...

Is the price a state secret? I can't see it mentioned on their FB page.

It looks to be a well made watch, good looking piece, but there are so many out there now.

I don't know how much new, but I'm guessing not cheap.

I managed to find one second hand, do you still have yours and if so is it still going strong?

    Yes, I still have mine.
It's worn in rotation with a number of other watches and is still going strong. Because I only ever wore it for ~12 hours at a time and because it has no second hand, it took me a while to notice that it was running quite slowly. I took it to my local watchmaker and he told me the regulator was right over to 'slow'. He reckoned the movement had left the factory like that.

As it happens I've just received the new on, Maiale Metro, today so will bung some pics up of that one.

Great to hear it's good watch. I'm torn between picking this up or getting a gruppo gamma.
