Yes..
We were driving out of Cobham (Surrey) today and saw a Bugatti Veyron with the number plate 'GP' on it, is it legal?

Eye watering expensive ? definitely .

Maybe this one? http://www.gpluxurycarhire.com/bugat...bugatti-veyron
Only €19000/day.
Maybe a lightly altered 6P?
At a slight tangent, I overtook one of these on the M6 a few weeks ago. OK it was on the back of a flatbed* at the time but it was still quite satisfying. Who says the MX-5 is underpowered?
* As well as being back to front.
A quick check on the dvla vehicle enquiry website reveals the plate is 6P and the car is 7 years old.
I have seen a few plates with just numbers. Anyone know what that is about?
The best number plate (combo) I've seen belonged to this pair of cars.

They were parked along the river from the north side of Battersea Bridge, but I have no idea if they are still there.

OP, I have seen the same car in Cobham (coming out of the junction opposite Waitrose) and I thought the same thing "was that letters only?!" but I had a sneaking suspicion at the time he'd been a little naughty with a G for a 6. As a previous poster confirmed, this is the case. Owner had his lad in the passenger seat the day I saw it - can you imagine your Dad driving that as a kid. Brilliant.
Currently in Khan's window in Leeds. Bugatti Veyron reg F1. £899,999 for the car. Rumour has it the plate is available for offers on £10,000,000. The salesman told me Ecclestone had bid £6.5 million, true or not I wouldn't like to comment.
