    Tag Heuer McLaren 30th

Has anyone bought one of these? Interested to hear any views and even better, how they wear/comparison pics.
Saw these advertised a few times and really tempted... £1200 and love the different look, engraved caseback too, with an McLaren MP4.

    Snap just because

All McLarens (except the F1 road car) are MP4s by the way and have been since 1981.

I've never understood the point of owning something branded by a product you'll never be able to afford.

    Not to mention it's hideous.

Thanks, I'm aware. Weirdly TH themselves don't differentiate which model it is.

I find the design itself pretty pleasing and am having a phase of loving coloured bezels. A car-branded watch is still below any reasonable taste threshold though.

Your money, if you like it, buy it IMO. I loved my MP4-12C; these types of watches appeal to my car loving side, just as they do with yourself.

Very true... I shall have a think! Would love to see one in the flesh to get an idea of sizing, may have to see if any of the local jewellers have them; and not buy a Pelagos while I go looking...!

Luke I have to say, it's the Pelagos all day long over the TAG, but they're different types of watches. A chrono would work alongside your exp ii better than a diver I reckon.
