Why is a dishonest seller allowed to sell in the sales corner?

Can someone help me here? A seller in the SC has been proven to be dishonest. He is still allowed to trade. Why is that? Surely not because he has agreed to donate the profit of one sale to charity? I know integrity is cheap these days, but is it that cheap?

Are there more in the SC like him? Should I just forget about ever buying or selling anything there? Are people here afraid to out dishonest sellers?

I wonder what happened to the chap who purchased a Rolex on the SC and had it taken away when it turned out it was stolen. Hopefully he has been reimbursed. Any news?

    Yes I can help.

    1) Like you were ever going to buy or sell anything anyway.

    2) This is an idle stirring of the pot thinly veiled as genuine concern.

Why? Why start another thread when there are several running on the same seller?

Is this too embarrassing to talk about? The responses do throw some light on how the forum works.

So, you think by sticking it back in Watch Talk you'll embarrass somebody? Who are you trying to embarrass?

You know full well how the forum works - folks get pi$$ed off when multiple threads are started on the same subject, especially if the poster has an unstated but clear agenda. It's that simple.

    I don't know what I was thinking.

On the subject of feeding I had the most fantastic full fry up for tea - including black pudding, streaky crispy bacon, runny eggs, tomatoes with Worchester Sauce and toast. Yum

I had a McDonalds Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin as a second breakfast today, which sustains me through the remainder of the day. Upon arriving home my evening meal awaited - ham, eggs, chips and peas - amongst the finest food known to mankind, normally.

Oh god I could murder a fry up. No tomatoes though as hot salad should be banned.
I had pasta and pesto. It wasn't interesting.

    Seconded.

PS I had a minute steak with frites washed down with Meteor beer followed by calvados and double macchiato - Subloodyperb!

PPS it was a very long day and a very tough crowd.

Aren't tomatoes technically a fruit? If so does that change things, although to be fair you stated hot salad; not sure if my point is relevant so I might need to start another thread.

The original thread has been moved to H&V, the sale thread remains in sales corner.

It had a dash of grated Parmesan. I neglected the pine nuts though but I'll remember that for next time!
Lidl does fresh pesto in its chiller cabinets. Beats the pants of the jar stuff so give it a go

Hot fruit is okay if it's in a pie or a crumble but hot fruit like banana left on the front seat of the car by accident on a warm day is simply not on.

I had mozzarella balls in breadcrumbs with chilli dip for lunch as I was working in Banstead today.

As a vegetarian I don't eat sausages as such, however I do like a couple of the Quorn ones with baked beans now and then. I can cope with Quorn as its not too much like meat. I once tried those Linda MCartney ones and they were too realistic - not pleasant at all.

Fried eggs are tricky, fine with 'dry' type things such as sausages but a real no-no with baked beans for me - cant have more then one liquid type substance on the plate.

You don't hear much about fried bread these days, which seems rather a shame.

Wednesdays in our house are Tesco home delivery night. Wednesday tea is therefore like an episode of Ready Steady Cook where I am presented with 4 or 5 random ingredients and told to make a delicious and nutritious meal for four. In twenty minutes. With a small person randomly twisting the oven and hob dials and placing yogurt pots under your feet.

Tonight was what I'm going to call Jambalaya. Or Paella. Or Mediterranean chicken casserole. Or Tagine.

Nice though. Chucked a load of that little pasta that's like rice in to soak up the juices, yum.

The thought of a fry up is very tempting. On the way home after a few post work beers with nothing to eat but a packet of nuts, dry roasted.

Just cooked a chicken breast with tarragon and mustard breadcrumb crust, served with new pots and salad, for our neighbours, (skin removed first and baked separately to a crisp with salt and pepper as an accompaniment.....

This is agony... I'm on a bit of a health kick just now (lost 14lbs in 4 weeks) so my lunch was 1 wholemeal pitta bread with ham, tomato and basil followed by a 4km jog.... And for dinner I had an egg sandwich on wholemeal bread.

Fry up would totally hit the spot right now.

Watches & fry up’s? Ooooh yes...

(Apologies about the tomatoes, I don’t normally like them hot but these have a drizzle of olive oil on and a touch of oregano).

Yes, yes, but where the baked beans, you can't have a proper fryup without beans.
