    "New shoes" on my AVI-8

I got myself an original Gobo strap and slapped it on my recently acquired AVI-8 Hawker Harrier II.
Sean did an excellent job on this one and I will not hesitate to have him do another one for me.

I think the combo works really well.

Great strap, however I think the expression 'new shoes' raises a few groans in these parts...

By "new shoes" I meant new leather.
I have read this comparison more often on the fora.
    No offence.

    No offence intended but,
This is TZ-UK and as a helpful suggestion we tend to think we're a cut above such phrases as
    New shoes,
    Pulling the trigger,
    Bad boy,
    Talk to me about,

Do they have a website? Google is showing up references to here and WUS's sales forums, but little else.

It's not above the rather rude "Educate me on...". The answer to that is always "no". :)

Interesting crackle-finish dial on that AVI-8!
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!

Did you pick them up on SC? Nice condition for a pair of beaters, a light polish and they would be back to 100%

nice to see an untouched, non polished example with nice crisp and even lace holes.

Guys, the shoes are not for sale. Please stop the PMs. I *might* consider a trade with a Fabergé-style egg, but otherwise, these are staying with me. Thanks.
