looks legit, but I have limited knowledge with them, also I have not seen a fake of these.

I don't know if it's real, but it matches your nail varnish nicely.

Iirc, they are called the Turbine and there was up for sale on here 12-24 months ago.
Based on stock, manufacturer, images, I'd say it looks correct. However, a quick Google does show that they are faked and so there is always the chance it could be a copy.
Is someone trying to pawn it?

Be careful Alex, there are replicas of the Turbines knocking about, out there.
The rotor looked off to me, but it looks like Perrelet have changed the design over the years – not to mention the movement too.
It is the correct rotor for an A1047/1.
That style is the new one, the older one is like this....

Thanks lads :) much appreciated :)
Google the serial number see if it throws up any fakes.
I have no idea, but I'd say if the logo is etched on the outside of the crystal it would be a bad sign.

Come on, that is a miserable fake if I ever saw one.
I'm no expert but the numbers look different to me in the 2 pictures
hard to judge, though number/indicies around dial looks poor
for this money I d take it to proper watchmaker
anyway, my 1st association was
There are a lot of miserable fakes about - and a few fake watches.
This does open up the question, are fakes really so good these days that people who should know better are easily misled, one way or another?
after looking at the photos closely, and although the movement is very similar, something in my gut is saying no Alex, If it was for sale on SC for instance, I would not be buying it.
there is just something off about it, text surrounding the movement on the caseback seems different, and the numerals on the dial are a little off.
If you can't tell the difference, then let me suggest that you simply buy a fake.
Is it on chrono24 for a bizzare £1797 from a uk seller?
if it was a Non uk seller & that sum was derived from an exchange rate i'd get it, but...
the latter, if you view the forum as a timeline, taking in the time of posts and the order the posts are in then you can form this conclusion yourself, and understand that people can, and will change there minds.
happens everyday in real life, you may have come across it, hope this helps in your day to day existence.
ok, thanks for the input............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ................
Well having studied the pics for a while I'm struggling to see any glaring differences so it would be nice if the folks who think it's a fake would specify what they've seen to lead them to that conclusion.
I think you need to take a look, again - only this time, focus on the lower half of the dial, which doesn't have blown highlights.
Alex, on that basis alone, with the movement, it looks genuine, but as I said, just be extra careful.
Since, for some reason I can't fathom, ostensibly sane people with control over their finances and eyesight good enough to read this forum believe that the watch in the OP is real, then alex should just go ahead and buy it.
If he does not like it, it seems he can easily just flog it off to someone else. I am sure some of the people who have posted here and think it is real will be first in line. PJ S for example can have it. If alex is accused of fraud he can safely claim ignorance and point to this thread and the fact that the watch in question seems to have flummoxed experienced watch hobbyists.
Please see an optometrist if you think those look alike.

It is entirely genuine, the movement shot of the back is all the confirmation you need. The fake uses a hilariously oversized 23j asian movement as below:
Please see an optometrist, Bones.
Just compare the real reference posted by AM94 in this thread with the one in the OP. The pic you posted is simply from a different fake.
Just for the record, alex, I think you are an ignorant tosser and you owe me an apology. I gave you exactly what you asked for and when you didn't like having your face shoved in your own poo you produced more of it.
Well, you've certainly put up a strong case this morning for the watch being dodgy Mr GrandS. Why you couldn't have done this yesterday without being a sanctimonious bell-end about it I've no idea.

Ok, time for a confession. I do take a certain pleasure in watching people dig themselves deeper into their own holes. This time they certainly delivered, somewhat surprisingly since the fake in the OP is an unusually bad one. No need to bring all the guns out until the enemy shows the whites of their eyes, is there?
Keep it up boys.
