Best casual strap for seiko 009

    Hello,

I'm in the fortunate position of just adding a 009 to my collection and I'm looking for a more casual strap to mix it up a bit.

Not a big fan of the z22 strap ans was ideally looking for something rubber / silicon or maybe a thick nato. All opinions welcome!

    Thanks

    Martin

The 009 would look good on a Nato in particular navy blue works well for the dial.I would highly recommend Bonetto Cinturini rubber straps lots to choose from and they even do a Nato style which I recently bought very stretchy and comfortable. The BC strap just get more comfortable as they are worn in.

    Great suggestions so far! Thanks.

    Loving this at the moment

But have also dropped a line to gas gas bones to see what options I have there.

Not sure if blue with red leather on this would be too much or not...

A lot of his straps seem to only be in back in 22mm which is a shame

Forgotten what size the lugs are on the 007 but Eddies nylon straps on deployant are really good - only available in 20mm though .
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

If you do go with something from Watchgecko, check out their prices on the main site and through ebay as they sell on their too.Sometimes they have 10% or 20% off too which is a nice surprise, recently I bought a BC through a company called Market straps as they had better prices, eg Watchgecko £40, Market straps £24

They are 22mm which seems to limit options a bit

I don't suppose anyone has any more information about this mod? I think it looks great.

Looks good indeed. Could have been done with an SKX007, the dial from an SKXA53, and an aftermarket set of sword hands.

That's the conclusion I came to as well. Plus bead blasted perhaps. Looks good.
