    No - I saw it. What was left of it anyway... the back of a Skoda Fabia turns out to be be quite solidly constructed ;)

    Take your test these days and if you get near the speed indicated when you change speed limits you will fail for not keeping up with traffic.

    I was taught to double de clutch on a driving course.

    I remember it well from my course too. One thing, it did teach constant rev gear changes for smoothness

    we dared to question why - and we given the "cos we have aywaes done it that wye" response (always done it for the non Scottish!!!)

    I was driving cheap old austin Cambridge's, A30's and moggy's in the 80's as I was young and the insurance was cheap. Father was in the REME driving diamond T's during the war, and taught me how to double de-clutch as the synchro's on old cars were often shot.
