WG blue sub that was in SC which sold before the sale of my kidney was finalised
So what watch have you been lusting after this last week? It can be affordable, unobtainable or a piece you're looking to acquire soon ... However what one watch have you been looking at on Google Images, Chrono24 or whilst passing by watch store windows? You must include pictures! :)
For me, unfortunately it's unobtainable at the moment ... I've been lusting after the AP ROO Bumblebee:
I've always fancied a ROO of some kind, but I love the contrast between the black and yellow colours ... and the fact it's pretty loud! :)
Over to you!

I still have my mind set on a PAM 557. I just love the look of it. That or the Rolex GMT black / blue. Or the blue dialled Milgauss. One of these is the contender for my next watch however I have yet to try the 557 or Milgauss on. The GMT felt fantastic on the wrist and looked just as good.
Omega speedmaster. Although im not sure why as ive had several and flipped them all. Miss 'em when they are gone though.
Rolex explorer 39mm.
Gs
JLC duomètre. Forever to be unrequited, I fear.

I'm certainly never selling mine :)
Lust list;
Chopard Lunar One Perpetual in Pt
Lange One Moonphase 41mm in Rose
Rolex white gold Submariner
Jaeger Reverso Perpetual
I had considered that getting these 4 would 'end my collection' but I've said that too many times so will concentrate elsewhere for now.

Quite a few things.,, but, looked again at these... They are very nice!
Just a MG LV and then I reckon I'm done in the short term. In the long term probably a PP 5712 .
Sd4000. It arrives on Friday. Going to be long five days.
The one that goes up in value every day😃
GO Panomaticlunar would be nice! Realistically next up is a Monaco or possibly a BlackBay Heritage
It's an Aerospace at the moment. One has just come up - but the wife has cleaned out the account again.
Too many to list them all, but a nice DJ with a dark Rhodium dial would be a good start.
Saw one of these in the window of Malloy's of Bath on Friday and haven't stoppped thinking about it:
So much better in the flesh than any picture i've seen.
AP RO,
but given I am starting a new business at the end of the year, my watch funds are being held as a backup fund whilst business in it infancy!
For a long time I have been wanting an Explorer 1 - but seem to be running hot and cold on this.
I really like the idea of a PRS-68, but worry it might be a bit big on my skinny wrist.
Ultimately I want a Sub ND.
Mostly I just worry I have to many watches already...
Well, I don't realy worry.
X33
Ploprof 600
Flightmaster
Rolex Seadweller (pre-ceramic)
Heuer Monaco
Omega Seamaster 300
Breitling Navitimer
Zenith El Primero Rainbow
HYT H2 Blue
Muhle Glashutte Rasmus
Rolex GMT Pepsi (vintage)
I could go on and on of course as could we all I guess but that's pretty much in order of want as it happens...but if I have to have one it's the go anywhere look fine in all situations seadweller...
No date Sub.
I spent an hour looking for one of these over the weekend.
I think I need help.
JLC Master Calendar
JLC Memovox
Rolex GMT BLNR
Rolex 16710
Muhle GLashutte 29 er/Big
A Nice tritium watch Ball perhaps........
.................... For Now!
This may change.
AP RO
Vacheron Overseas - titanium
PP Aquanaut
JLC Atmos
Also really like the look of the new Rolex gold yacht master
.........now just to work out how I will ever afford them - ho hum
I'm currently lusting after these:
Citizen BN2024-05E
Citizen JV0055-00E
I've absolutely no idea why I want them, though
Apart from fantasy watch that I will only ever own if I win the lottery ,my top three would be Blancpain 50 fathoms with no radiation dial, AP royal oak offshore and either a Lange or FP Journey. This would cover all the bases ,dive watch ,chronograph and dress watch .
Unrealistic:
Daytona 6263
WG Sub
(Slightly more) Realistic:
Z-33 (I love these - weird I know)
X-33
White dial Zenith Daytona
At the moment it is a PRS-36 and PRS-82, longines legend diver and for a long time speedmaster pro
Doubt any will be incoming for a while
I've been pining for a Rolex 16750 for a very long time, and there's no reason to believe that I'll stop anytime soon.
The Sea Dwellers on SC... the 1665 in particular.
The new Longines Heritage Diver 1967. Lovely.
I foolishly sold this Chopard 8915 five years ago. Now I check WatchRecon every day to see if one's been listed at a reasonable price. They're getting hard to find in good condition with the correct strap (and ideally with the Ti bracelet, too), box and papers. I figure when I get my mortgage paid next year this will be my reward to myself, before I get to work on retiring my home equity line-of-credit (seems like it never ends)....
Currently starting to research explorers ..... Just the start of the slippery slope towards lusting and then getting funds together.....
I have always wanted an AP BumbleBee since meeting Mark Cavendish wearing his - looked awesome!
Tried one on in Manchester a couple of weeks ago - it didnt disappoint!
However it's not your "only watch" - it's place in a collection is definitely as a fun piece for the man who can also afford other more sensible pieces!
Funny enough CB, that appeals to me too for some reason. It shouldn't, but it does. *checks time. Nope not drunk*.
Lovely watch CD, though if we're talking Zeniths I would love one of these.
On the Bay there is this WW2 Longines HS. The British answer to the Panerai of the Italians and far far rarer. Sadly I'd have to sell my gaff to buy it. And then I'd have to remove the movement and move into it. :)
An ALS Datograph would be greatly appreciated.
Where to start... Some kind of chronoograph I guess. In an ideal world, a nice vintage Daytona. More realistically, a Zenith De Luca. Failing that, a Tudor Big Block would do nicely.
Thanks, a good illustration of my point. I bought mine in 2005 for $1700 and struggled to find a buyer at the same price in 2010. Several people emailed me to say I was too high at $1700, but they'd gladly take it off my hands for $1500 (lowballers, gotta love 'em). Right after I sold mine, the price jumped to the mid $2000s, and now you see a lot priced higher. "Reasonably priced", in my book, would be $2300 with the correct tire tread strap, box, papers and in very good to excellent condition. Of those four:
1) http://www.chrono24.com/en/chopard/m...-id3241132.htm Priced too high
2) http://www.chrono24.com/en/chopard/t...-id2973885.htm Still too high, but not as bad... however missing one strap keeper
3) http://www.chrono24.com/en/chopard/m...-id2807578.htm Getting close, but also missing one strap keeper
4) http://www.chrono24.com/en/chopard/m...-id2986885.htm Wrong strap - not original
So, none of these would be acceptable at the listed prices, but regardless, I'm skint and it's all academic anyway until I get the house paid off.
Not really lusting after anything and certainly nothing on my radar until later in the year due to holidays and cars being paid for etc...
Having said that, I'm admiring these from afar
